PHOTOS: THE WOMEN OF WEINER-GATE

Anthony Weiner sex scandal: The women behind

Weiner-gate

Sydney Leathers

Anthony Weiner's cyber mistress is now a porn star. The heavily tattooed brunette filmed a solo sex scene for porn purveyor Vivid Entertainment that was posted online on Aug. 5, 2013. In the X-rated video, which Vivid describes as "hardcore," Sydney Leathers makes sexy poses for the camera holding a phony newspaper called the New York Bugle with the headline "WEINERGATE." The Daily News reported exclusively that Leathers -- a small town Midwestern girl from Illinois -- was in talks to do a porn flick based on her e-fling with Weiner, which began after his resignation from Congress.

New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner's comeback campaign has been rocked by a new cybersex shocker as newly surfaced photos reveal he had X-rated online liaisons with a woman a year after he resigned from Congress for similar behavior. Weiner used the nom de perv "Carlos Danger" as he sent lewd photos of himself to the woman and engaged in sex chats with her. Weiner, 48, fessed up after a gossip site called The Dirty posted allegations from an anonymous woman who said she had an online relationship with him for several months beginning in July 2012, when she was 22.

Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin

Huma Abedin, in an extraordinarily candid state of their union address, declared her commitment to Weiner despite the recent revelations. "Our marriage, like many others, had its ups and downs," said Abedin, wearing a tight smile, as she faced a media horde. "It took a lot of work and a whole lot of therapy . . . but I made the decision to stay in this marriage." Meanwhile, Weiner brushed aside calls from his rivals that he abandon his candidacy. "I want to bring my vision to the people," he said. "I hope they are still willing to give me a second chance." Check out all the pics -- and the women -- that started Weiner-gate ...

Anthony Weiner

Weiner's 2011 fall from grace shocked the nation as more and more photos of the pervy pol emerged. TMZ published a slew of squirm-inducing self-portraits, apparently taken in the House gym - some clothed, some not.

Several show Weiner showing off his naked body holding only his camera and his privates. In others, he is clothed or draped in a white towel, flexing his muscles as he holds a camera up to his reflection in a locker room mirror.

TMZ said the photos were sent online to at least one woman and said the House gym venue raises new questions about his use of congressional resources for his salacious cybering.

Anthony Weiner

Another source close to Weiner said the congressman was surprised it took two weeks for the gym photos to surface.

Anthony Weiner

Weiner shrugged off calls to resign from top Democrats -- he worried more about what his rank-and-file colleagues think, a source said.

Anthony Weiner

The source said one of the only people Weiner would listen to is his mentor, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.). Schumer has said he is "heartbroken" over Weiner's implosion, but has stopped short of telling him to quit.

The other person Weiner will take advice from is his wife, Huma Abedin. Abedin has stuck by her husband's side despite his online infidelities.

Meanwhile, the White house had a not-so-subtle message for sext-capading Rep. Anthony Weiner: Take a hike. "The President feels, we feel at the White House, this is a distraction, as Congressman Weiner has said himself, his behavior was inappropriate," said White House Press Secretary Jay Carney. "Dishonesty was inappropriate."

Anthony Weiner

House Democratic bosses, including Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Democratic National Committee chief Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) demanded Weiner's resignation for his sordid sexting.

Anthony Weiner

Embattled former Rep. Anthony Weiner admitted that he sent dirty pictures of himself to Internet strangers and lied about it but he denied cheating on his wife -- but at the time said he wasn't stepping down. "I have terrible mistakes that have hurt the people I care about the most," he said. "I regret not being honest about this. I was embarrassed. I was humiliated"

One woman told RadarOnline she carried on a "longterm Facebook affair" with Weiner, trading sexy messages and photos for months this year. The middle-aged Nevada woman, who was not identified, said she has 200 sexually explicit messages and once spent a half hour talking dirty with him on the phone, but that she never met him. Here, the photo that started Weinergate of bulging briefs appeared in the congressman's Twitter stream, addressed to a 21-year-old Seattle college student.

Meagan Broussard

26-year-old Meagan Broussard, a single mother from Texas, has become the face of Weiner's online transgressions. The photos the Congressman sent her were posted to the conservative site, BigGovernment.com.

Meagan Broussard

She says she first connected with Weiner when she commented he was "hot" on a YouTube video he posted to Facebook, and he reached out "almost immediately."

Meagan Broussard

Broussard offered up photos, emails, Facebook messages and more from her month-long Internet affair with Weiner in interviews on June 6. 2011.

Ginger Lee

Anthony Weiner is also linked to former porn star, Ginger Lee. The Congressman gave Ginger Lee tips on how to lie to cover their tracks, TMZ reports.

Ginger Lee

"Weiner and former porn star Ginger Lee exchanged scores of sexual emails over a long period of time. When the underwear scandal broke on May 28, Lee began receiving calls from the media, and Weiner was more than happy to help her control the situation ... by lying," TMZ reports.

Ginger Lee

On June 2, Weiner emailed Lee, "Do you need to talk to a professional PR type person to give u advice? I can have someone on my team call. [Yeah, my team is doing great. Ugh]." It's unclear if Weiner meant someone on his Congressional staff, which, as the report notes, could mean a too-close-for-comfort brush with the rules. Weiner has said he did not use government resources to pursue his hobby of hitting on chicks via Twitter and Facebook, and that he "welcomes" the Ethics Committee investigation ordered up by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Gennette Nicole Cordova

Gennette Nicole Cordova is the college student who received the bulging briefs photo from Anthony Weiner's Twitter account, though she says they have never met before.

Gennette Nicole Cordova

The online drama began when a lewd photo appeared in Weiner's Twitter stream addressed to Cordova but visible to all 40,000 of his Twitter followers. The crotch shot that left little to the imagination sparked an Internet frenzy and Weinergate.

Gennette Nicole Cordova

In a statement to the Daily News, Cordova said "All of this is so outlandish that I don't know whether to be pissed off or amused, quite frankly. This is the reality of sharing information online in the 21st century." After being caught up in a media storm for Twitter exchanges between she and the Congressman, Cordova went on to say "I am a 21-year-old college student from Seattle. I have never met Congressman Weiner, though I am a fan. I go to school in Bellingham where I spend all of my time; I've never been to New York or to DC. The point I am trying to make is that, contrary to the impression that I apparently gave from my tweet, I am not his girlfriend."

Lisa Weiss

Another woman linked to the Congressman is Lisa Weiss. The middle-aged Nevada woman, identified as 40-year-old Las Vegas blackjack dealer Lisa Weiss, said she has 200 sexually explicit messages from Weiner and once spent a half-hour talking dirty with him on the phone, but they never met in person.

Lisa Weiss

Weiss may have admitted that the creepy Congressman "has a weird fetish," but "it doesn't make him a bad politician." Instead Weiss told Inside Edition, "It makes him a bad husband."

Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin

Anthony Weiner may have been engaging in reckless online flirting, but at home was his wife of eleven months, Huma Abedin. In his press conference, Weiner said, "I don't know what I was thinking. I'm deeply ashamed of my terrible judgment." Weiner broke down repeatedly, especially as he apologized over and over to his wife.

Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin

A longtime top aide to Secretary of State Clinton, Abedin did not appear at Weiner's side for his press conference. Weiner said his wife "didn't know until this morning that I had not been telling the truth about the Twitter posting."

Lisa Weiss

Weiss said she didn't know Weiner was married when they first started sexting - but didn't stop after she found out that Huma Abedin was his wife. "I should not have been flirting with her husband," an apologetic Weiss said. "I had a crush on him."

Anthony Weiner

Weiner's claims of being hacked fell apart as at least two new women came forward to say he sent them dirty pictures and messages. He finally admitted he lied when he claimed he'd been hacked. "That was a very dumb thing to do," he said. "I'm sorry."
