Peyton Manning shines, but others struggle

Denver Broncos QB, Peyton Manning during training
drills at Dove Valley Saturday July 26, 2013.

Playing in some specific down-and-distance situations, the quarterbacks continued to work out the early-camp kinks Saturday.
Peyton Manning's work drew the biggest cheers from the fans Saturday morning as the team worked in pads for the first time, especially when he hit Demaryius Thomas up the right sideline. All in all, however, it was an up-and-down day from the passers.
Backup quarterback Brock Osweiler continued to show a power arm, but hit a rough spot or two in the workout. Safety Duke Ihenacho intercepted Osweiler, cutting in front of rookie Tavarres King.
Rookie Zac Dysert had a couple of passes tipped at the line of scrimmage in drills and was inconsistent with his accuracy at times, while rookie Ryan Katz was intercepted by veteran linebacker Wesley Woodyard in linebacker/running back one-on-one work.
