Just like the buzz has it, Aishwarya Rai's wax statue is finally ready to be displayed at one of Europe's oldest and prestigious wax museum, 'Musee Grevin' situated in Montreal, Paris. The museum features wax statues of most of the Hollywood biggies including Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio and Celine Dion. Shah Rukh Khan's statue added sometime back and now finally it's Mrs. Bachchan's turn.

In a FantastikIndia Interview with Veronique Berecz, external Relations Manager of the museum, Veronique affirms that the Museum had approached Ash in 2008 for her statue but unfortunately she was pre-occupied with her marital responsibilities so they proceeded with SRK's statue and requested her once again in 2011 but the diva was expecting a baby then. However, the beauty graciously managed to take out two hours from her busy schedule and allowed the Musee Grevin team to take her facial measurements. Since the yummy mummy was pregnant, the team also took other necessary information apart from the body measurements and referred to her photographs for the statue's figure. 

The look of the Ash's Wax Statue is inspired by her Cannes appearance in 2009 at the Spring Fever Premiere. Aishwarya already has two statues at Madame Tussauds London and Blackpool branches, this is her third statue added to the list!
