Sydney Leathers: Anthony Weiner constantly spoke of City Hall dreams during phone sex

Weiner's former sexting partner Leathers says the mayoral hopeful would talk about his political career during their steamy sessions. Leathers — who plans to make an announcement with porn powerhouse Vivid Entertainment on Monday — says she isn't going anywhere.

Sydney Leathers, the woman behind Anthony Weiner's latest sexting scandal, told the Daily News that mayoral hopeful used to talk politics during their steamy phone-sex sessions.

Incorrigible Anthony Weiner mingled his City Hall dreams with erotic fantasies during steamy phone-sex sessions, says his cyberparamour Sydney Leathers.

“He would talk about how he felt everything would be okay from his first
scandal,” the Indiana woman told the Daily News in an exclusive interview Saturday.

“He’d go on and on about how his constituents would support him no matter what,” she claimed. “He talked about himself as if he was infallible.”

Leathers told The News that Weiner talked about himself 'as if he was infallible.'

Leathers, catapulted into the spotlight by her raunchy relationship with Weiner, said she wanted to expose the pervy pol’s duplicity by going public with their “romance” — and now she won’t let him move on from the second coming of his sexting scandal.

She said Weiner was texting and calling her for graphic phone sex up to five times daily through Election Day 2012 — long after his resignation from Congress and his empty claims of rehabilitation.

Last week, Weiner told the Daily News that he has ended his sexting.

“I’m definitely interested in confronting him face to face,” Leathers told The News. “I would tell him to stop being a hypocrite, stop humiliating his wife and stop embarrassing the city.”

The Democrat admitted he had a relapse a year after he resigned from Congress in sexting-related disgrace in June 2012, but now says his online escapades ended last summer.

Weiner told The News last week that he has ended his sexting ways.

Leathers, whose online relationship with Weiner was part of the relapse, said the ex-lawmaker with the major libido routinely boasted about his prowess with voters and his plans to run for mayor.

“The people of New York love me, you understand, they love me,” Weiner allegedly said during one of their phone-sex sessions in 2012, his Indiana sexting partner claimed Saturday.

She said Weiner told her he had a bulging campaign war chest — and he was in a “use-it-or-lose-it” situation. “I have this campaign money. Even if I’m not going to be mayor, I have to do something with it,” she quoted Weiner as saying.

Leathers want New Yorkers to know her side of the controversial story and has no plans to back down.

As of last summer, Weiner had more than $4 million in his campaign account and faced a deadline this year to use it or be blocked from cashing in on millions more in public matching funds.

She said Weiner first mentioned a mayoral run to her in late August or early September, before she read about it in the news. “He acted like he was the only choice. He made fun of (Mayor) Bloomberg, how he had to buy his last term and what a loser he was,” she said. “He never said anything bad about Christine Quinn, but he said there’s no other competition. He said, ‘The people of New York love me.’ He said it like 100 times.”

Leathers says Weiner made fun of Mayor Bloomberg for being a 'loser' and constantly said 'the people of New York love me.’

Weiner’s spokeswoman, Barbara Morgan, said only: “As Anthony has said, some things people may say are true and some may be made up.”

Leathers, 23, has weathered her own bad press and public backlash since revealing the seedy secrets of her online affair with the married former congressman. But the aspiring paralegal said she accepts responsibility for her mistakes, wants New Yorkers to know her side of the story and has no plans to back down.

On Monday, she plans to make an announcement related to a project with porn powerhouse Vivid Entertainment. “It is related to this situation,” she told The News, adding that it will be something available for viewing by the time of the Sept. 10 primary. A Vivid source previously told The News company founder Steven Hirsch was interested in a “parody movie enacting the sexting events as they happened.”

Leathers has insisted that she is not the gold-digger some in her small town has suggested she is.

Leathers, who was back home Saturday in Indiana, plans a New York return later in August for a followup photo shoot with fashion company Apparel NY. She also hopes to team up with shock jock Howard Stern during the trip to ambush Weiner on the campaign trail.

“People are calling me a home-wrecker,” she said. “They’re being so hard on me. But I acknowledge that what I did was wrong. I was 22 at the time and single. He’s married and running for office.

“There are big differences between us,” she said. “He’s setting himself up for failure. He’s too busy masturbating to ever run a city as large as New York.”
Leathers was adamant she’s not the “fame whore” and “gold-digger” some in her small town have suggested.

“I never really fit in in this small, conservative area,” she told The News. “I’m very outgoing and obviously my political views didn’t align. I got a lot of attention for those reasons, and it all kind of adds up in a negative way to some people.”

She said she didn’t make a dime off the naked crotch shots from Weiner that she released to TheDirty.com — leading to Part 2 of the Weiner scandal — but she admitted she’s considering some paid offers to pay her bills.

She still wants to get her certification as a paralegal when her life settles down after the election, she said.

Until then, she plans to remain a thorn in Weiner’s side.
